The Joint Economic & Community Development Board of Decatur County,
TN is a governmental development agency. The communities of
Decaturville, Parsons, Scotts Hill and Decatur County comprise the JECD
and fund the organization. The JECD is Focused on retail and business
recruiting, tourism, and retiree recruitment.

                                 Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the existing economic and community structure
while recruiting and retaining new, viable business ventures and promoting
our vast natural resources and recreational opportunities to tourists. To
work to ensure a continuing improvement in our marketing strategies by
linking and utilizing all facets in our rural communities.
