The Decatur County Fairgrounds is available for rent and is available for any event requiring a large area and can easily
accommodate everything from concerts to conventions. The annual Decatur County Fair and Spring Carnival is held here.

Located on the grounds is the new, modern Convention Center that features a state of the art, 20,000 square foot convention
area, with air conditioning and heat, (ADA compliant), clean, modern restrooms, a roomy kitchen with grills, ovens, counters,
ice machine, industrial style sinks and plentiful storage space.

Parking space is plentiful as well, enough to accommodate some 1000 plus vehicles, with more than adequate handicap
parking.  Chairs and tables are available; please let us know in advance how many you will require.  There is also a large
stage with a runway for holding everything from plays to pageants.

The Decatur County Convention Center is available for rent and has a seating capacity of approximately 3,000. It is available
for any event requiring a large area and can easily accommodate everything from concerts to conventions.

The new, modern site features a state of the art, 20,000 square foot convention area, with air conditioning and heat, (ADA
compliant), clean, modern restrooms, a roomy kitchen with grills, ovens, counters, ice machine, industrial style sinks and
plentiful storage space.

Points of interest and recreational facilities within a few minutes drive include the Tennessee River Golf Course, Beech Bend
Park and Mousetail Landing State Park, the Mermaid Marina, Tennessee River Fishing Tours, and Brownsport Furnace,
along with city and county parks, picnic pavilions, a horse riding arena, nature trails, airport, campground parks, protected
eagle’s nesting area, etc.

Also available within minutes from the site you will find many fine restaurants, chain restaurants and home style eateries that
feature good old down home cooking, pit barbeque, steaks, catfish, and even filet mignon.

Building Rental Fees:

For Profit Rate and Out of County Rate
• Hourly Rate - $200.00 Minimum for first three hours plus $20.00/hr after that.
• $440.00/day 2 day minimum
• $100.00 deposit required for clean-up fee for building
• Kitchen Rental - $10.00/hr. While Kitchen is in use - plus building rental fee. If kitchen is to be used for more than one day
add $5.00 per hour for overnight usage of refrigeration equipment.
• $100.00 deposit for clean-up fee for kitchen

*Non Profit - In County Only – Rates
• 40.00/hr. up to 5 hours. (mim. 3hrs) plus $10.00/hr. after that.
• $380.00/day 2 day minimum
• $100.00 deposit required for clean-up fee for building

• Kitchen Rental - $10.00/hr. While Kitchen is in use - plus building rental fee. If kitchen is to be used for more than one day
add $5.00 per hour for overnight usage of refrigeration equipment.
• $100.00 deposit for clean-up fee for kitchen

Facility Amenities:
Pipe and drape booths and curtains – setup and usage 12.50 per 10 x 10 booth
Tables - $2.00 per table used

Camping Rates:

• With electricity and water $17.00 daily, Senior Rate of $15.00 daily.
• With electricity only $13.00 daily, Senior Rate of $11.00 daily.
• Without electricity or water $11.00 daily, Senior Rate of $9.00 daily.

Non Profit Rates - will be charged only to groups using the facility strictly for non-profit purposes. Examples would be a
church renting the building for a revival, a group raising money to benefit the poor or needy, etc. To be considered a non-
profit, the organization should either be a church, or have a 501C3 status with the Internal Revenue Service or be operating
under the charter of a parent organization that dose.
